Justine King, RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

My name is Justine, and I am a Registered Massage Therapist with a strong focus on nervous‑system regulation, trauma‑informed care, and intuitive body awareness. I bring a blend of clinical skill and grounded presence to every session, creating a space where clients can feel safe, supported, and understood. Before working with people, I also worked as an equine massage therapist, which taught me the importance of gentle, attuned touch and the power of non‑verbal communication — lessons that continue to shape my approach today.

As a mother of six and someone who has navigated ADHD, OCD, and the long‑term effects of stress, I understand firsthand how the body holds tension, protects itself, and communicates when it’s overwhelmed. My own experiences have given me a deep respect for the nervous system and the ways it influences pain, posture, breath, and overall well-being. These insights guide my work and allow me to meet clients with empathy, patience, and a strong clinical foundation.
I am passionate about supporting women, children of all ages, neurodivergent clients, trauma‑survivors, and anyone seeking a gentler, more regulated approach to care. I offer both hands‑on treatments and no‑touch somatic awareness sessions for clients who prefer a non‑invasive option or are building trust with their bodies. My goal is always to help clients reconnect with themselves, release tension safely, and experience a sense of grounding that carries into their daily lives.

If you’re looking for care that is professional, intuitive, and deeply respectful of your unique needs, I would be honoured to support you

Are you curious about Justine?

A close friend of mine, an RMT, walked me through an abdominal massage over the phone during a difficult time in my life and it helped so much heal the situation. That moment changed everything for me. I knew then that massage wasn’t just a career — it was a calling.

I find inspiration outdoors — whether I’m near the water, around animals, or spending time gardening. Being in nature helps me reset and reconnect.

Gentle movement and stretching. Staying connected with my family and animals. Making time for quiet moments to reset

I love learning and researching new topics, reading, horseback riding, being in nature, and understanding how the body works. Anything that helps me grow personally or professionally lights me up.

Why would a potential client come to Kindred Hope?

Clients come to Kindred Hope because it’s a warm, welcoming space where they feel supported and cared for. It’s a place where people can slow down, breathe, and receive thoughtful, individualized care.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVOURITE THINGS TO DO?

I’m happiest when I’m outside — gardening, riding horses, or just wandering around in the sunshine. I love diving into new topics (my Google search history is a wild ride), getting lost in a good book, and spending time with my family and animals. Anything that lets me move, learn, or laugh
