Our Behavioural Support Services
Discover more about our range of Behaviour support services

Kindred Hope’s behavioural support services are tailored to your unique needs, helping you build practical skills, confidence, and independence in everyday life.

Kindred Hope Wellness provides behavioural support services for children, teens, adults, and families through a compassionate, collaborative, and individualized approach. We focus on building practical skills, emotional regulation, communication, independence, and confidence while recognizing each person's unique strengths, needs, and experiences. Services are provided within the home and natural environments whenever appropriate, creating meaningful opportunities for learning and growth in everyday life while fostering supportive relationships with individuals, families, and caregivers. The otter represents curiosity, adaptability, and connection—qualities that are at the heart of Behavioural Support Services. It reflects a strengths-based approach that encourages learning, confidence, and growth through supportive relationships and meaningful experiences.
We believe behavioural support should be respectful, flexible, and relationship-focused. Our goal is not to change who someone is, but to better understand their strengths, needs, and experiences while supporting meaningful skill development, communication, emotional regulation, confidence, and everyday functioning. Our services are ABA-informed and supported under the supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA/BCBA), while maintaining a neurodiversity-affirming, person- and family-centred approach that helps children, teens, adults, and families develop practical strategies that support growth and success in everyday life. Ontario Autism Program (OAP) funding may be available for eligible families.
Behaviour Support Sessions
Are you, your teen, or your child experiencing challenges with emotional regulation, communication, daily routines, independence, or social connections? Looking for practical support that recognizes individual strengths and needs? Behavioural Support Services can help children, teens, adults, and families build confidence, develop meaningful skills, and create positive strategies for everyday life.
How much do services cost, and are funding options available?
Fees vary depending on the type of service, level of support required, and it is ABA-Informed, with an RBA supervisor involved, while you will be seeing a behavioural therapist for your sessions. Ontario Autism Program (OAP) funding may be available for eligible families, and private payment options are also accepted. Please contact us if you have questions.
How often are sessions recommended, and what does the process look like?
Recommendations are individualized based on your goals, needs, and availability. Services typically begin with an intake and assessment process, followed by collaborative goal setting and a personalized support plan. Session frequency may range from occasional consultation to weekly or multiple weekly visits.
Is there a waitlist, and how soon can services begin?
Availability varies throughout the year. Some clients may be able to begin services shortly after intake, while others may be placed on a waitlist. We encourage families to contact us to discuss current availability and next steps.
Do I need a diagnosis to access behavioural support services?
No. A formal diagnosis is not required to access behavioural support services. Support can focus on practical skills, emotional regulation, communication, independence, daily living skills, and other goals that are meaningful to you or your family. Contact us with any questions.
