Compassionate support for individuals. Meaningful relief for caregivers. Children • Teens • Adults • Older Adults Starting at $50/hour • Typical Sessions: 3–6 Hours Caring for a loved one is rewarding, but everyone needs time to rest, work, attend appointments, or simply recharge. Specialized Respite Support provides trusted caregiver relief while ensuring your loved one receives compassionate, individualized support in a safe and engaging environment. At Kindred Hope Wellness, we believe respite is about more than supervision. Every session is personalized to the individual's strengths, interests, communication style, sensory needs, routines, and level of independence, creating meaningful experiences that promote confidence, connection, and quality of life.
Our approach is relationship-focused, person-centred, and strengths-based. We take time to understand each individual's personality, routines, interests, and support needs so every visit feels familiar, engaging, and meaningful. We also work collaboratively with caregivers to provide consistent support that aligns with each family's goals and preferences.
Specialized Respite Support is designed for children, teens, adults, and older adults who benefit from individualized support because of a disability, autism, age-related needs, or other unique circumstances. Unlike traditional respite, our approach goes beyond supervision. We focus on building relationships, encouraging participation in meaningful activities, and providing support that reflects each person's goals, interests, and abilities. At the same time, caregivers can step away with confidence, knowing their loved one is safe, respected, and supported.
