Avery Robb, MA (CAND.)
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) & Intern Therapist
Navigating the journey from young adulthood is no easy task. Between the demands of school, family, relationships, and figuring out your identity, life can feel overwhelming. As a therapist, I specialize in working with teens and young adults who are facing challenges like anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and other mental health concerns. My mission is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to overcome obstacles and thrive.
Growing up as the child of a first responder and having a sibling in the military, I know firsthand the unique challenges that come with these roles. The unpredictability, the emotional weight, and the pressure to stay strong can take a toll—not just on those in service, but on the whole family. These experiences have shaped my deep empathy for young people balancing their own struggles with the ripple effects of their family dynamics.
I bring both personal and professional experience to my work, particularly with neurodivergence. I understand how isolating it can feel to navigate a world that often seems designed for someone else’s brain. My approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-based techniques, and a genuine commitment to meeting you where you are. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and develop personalized strategies to help you feel more confident, capable, and in control of your life.
In addition to working with neurodivergent clients, I focus on helping teens and young adults manage anxiety, build emotional resilience, and navigate relationships and life transitions. Growing up today comes with unique pressures, from academic demands to social media and identity exploration. I’m here to help you make sense of it all and discover your strengths, set boundaries, and embrace who you truly are. If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear your story and be part of your journey. Whether you’re struggling with self-doubt, stress, or figuring out your next steps in life, I’m here to help you turn challenges into opportunities for growth. Let’s work together to build a foundation for a confident, fulfilling future.

Are you curious about Avery?
What made you decide to choose your role as a therapist?
I decided to pursue becoming a therapist because I felt that my personal experience with mental health could provide value and support to someone going through something similar. When I was amid my mental health journey with OCD and anxiety, I was embarrassed that I was having such distressing thoughts, mostly because I did not know what was going on. It was not until my own therapist helped me with learning about these disorders, coping mechanisms and who I was outside of having OCD and anxiety that I knew I had found my passion. When I started to understand what living with OCD and anxiety would look like for me, I knew I needed to help others find that as well. Being a teenager and young adult with an anxiety disorder is very difficult, and with my firsthand experience, I knew I needed to take that educational and career path to achieve the goal of helping others through a similar journey.
