Suzanne Jones, MA (cand.)
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) & Intern
Life rarely follows a straight path. Sometimes we face unexpected changes, feel stuck or overwhelmed, or wonder what comes next. You don’t have to navigate those moments alone.
My 20+ years as a Registered Massage Therapist bring a mind-body perspective to my work and an understanding of how physical and emotional well-being may be connected.
ADHD and neurodivergence are especially meaningful to me, both professionally and personally. As a parent of a child with ADHD, I understand that neurodivergence can bring both strengths and
challenges that look different for everyone. I support neurodivergent individuals and parents as they navigate everyday life. Together, we
can build on strengths, better understand what works for you, and find practical strategies that fit your life and your relationships.
Sport and being active have always been an important part of my life. As a former competitive athlete, I understand how rewarding sport can be, as well as the demands, setbacks, and challenges that can come with it. We can explore ways to build confidence, manage pressure, and work toward your goals without losing sight of your mental and emotional well-being.
Life can bring seasons where you feel stretched thin, disconnected from yourself, or unsure of what you need. I support individuals navigating stress, relationships, changing roles, and life transitions, offering a space to reconnect with yourself and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Ultimately, we are a team. My role is to listen, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and offer perspective and practical strategies when helpful. I believe growth isn’t about changing who you are, but about understanding yourself better, recognizing your strengths, and finding what works for you. I look forward to connecting and seeing how I can support you.

Are you curious about Suzanne?
What made you decide to choose your role as a therapist?
After more than 20 years in healthcare, I realized that what I valued most was the connection I built with people and being there for them through different stages of their lives. I became increasingly interested in the emotional side of what people were experiencing and wanted to support them differently. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural next step, allowing me to build on the parts of my work I had always found most meaningful.
What is your favourite place to find inspiration?
Near the water. Whether it's a lake, the ocean, or even a pool, I've always found comfort in being in or around water—it helps me slow down, reset, and be present.
What are the top 3 things you do to keep healthy?
Making time for the people who matter to me, staying active, and laughing—a lot.
What are some of your favourite things to do?
I love spending time with family and friends, watching my kids' sports and activities, camping, baking, listening to music, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. I also love to challenge myself—whether it’s a crossword, a brain game, or a 1000+ piece puzzle.
Why would a potential client come to Kindred Hope?
What stands out to me about Kindred Hope is that well-being isn’t viewed through just one lens. I value being part of a team that recognizes the whole person and understands that our emotional well-being can be connected to many different parts of our lives.
What are your biggest interests that show a bit about you?
I’m a lifelong learner and love anything that gets me thinking or teaches me something new. I enjoy listening to audiobooks and watching sports, and I love the energy of live sporting events and concerts. Being in nature is very calming for me, and if the weather allows, you’ll probably find me barefoot. Family is a huge part of my life, and I value time spent together—especially when there’s good food and lots of laughter involved.
